Wrinkle Treatment

This treatment relaxes facial muscles and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Common treatment areas include frown lines (glabella complex), forehead lines, crow’s feet (lateral canthal lines), eyebrow lift, lip flip and DAOs (downturned mouth). This treatment can also address concerns like mentalis dysfunction (dimpled chin), a gummy smile and platysmal bands (neck bands).
Key: This aesthetic treatment was previously known as ‘anti-wrinkle injections'.
Our clinic uses specially compounded topical local anaesthetic to make your treatment as comfortable as possible.

Bio Remodelling

Bio-remodelling is a subtle cosmetic treatment achieved by injecting two different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid (HA) in very high doses under the skin. Unlike volume restoration, bio-remodelling focuses on restructuring the skin, triggering collagen and elastin production to enhance skin quality, reduce skin laxity, and combat the effects of ageing. Bio-remodelling typically requires at least two treatments, four weeks apart, lasting 6-12 months.

Volume Replacement

This treatment  involves injecting a prescription-only, high-quality hyaluronic acid (HA) formula into targeted areas to sculpt, volumise, or lift facial features while hydrating the skin for a fuller, more youthful appearance. Dr Katey uses different types of HA filler to yield the best results for specific areas of the face based on the patient’s aesthetic goals.

Key: Volume Restoration is the name given to the cosmetic injectable treatment previously known as ‘dermal filler'.

Cheek

Cheek treatments  assist in supporting cheek structure and facial balance. A hyaluronic acid product is carefully placed in targeted areas to help address volume changes and contour concerns. Treatment may support overall facial harmony and soften the appearance of age-related volume changes, following a comprehensive clinical assessment.

Lip

Lip treatments are non-invasive cosmetic procedures designed to support lip volume and definition. They may assist in refining lip borders, addressing symmetry concerns and softening the appearance of lines around the mouth. Chin

Jawline

Jaw treatments involve the careful placement of cosmetic injectables to support jawline structure and contour. Over time, changes in bone and soft tissue can alter the appearance of the lower face. Treatment may assist in supporting jawline definition and addressing volume changes, depending on individual anatomy and suitability. A comprehensive clinical assessment is conducted to determine the most appropriate treatment approach, which may involve different techniques

Eye rejuvenation

Tear trough treatment is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that may assist with volume changes and contour irregularities beneath the eyes. Carefully placed hyaluronic acid filler may help soften the appearance of hollowing, depending on individual suitability. Dr Katey conducts a thorough consultation to assess whether this treatment is appropriate and to discuss expected outcomes.

Tear trough treatment does not tighten the skin. Other treatment options may be recommended where skin quality is the primary concern.

Nasolabial fold & marionette line

Nasolabial folds and marionette lines are common facial features that can become more noticeable over time. Cosmetic injectables may assist in softening the appearance of these lines by supporting underlying volume, depending on individual suitability. Dr Katey conducts a comprehensive consultation to determine the most appropriate treatment approach based on facial anatomy and treatment goals.

In some cases, treatment of adjacent areas may be discussed as part of an overall plan, following clinical assessment.

How does Volume Replacement work?

The volumising formula primarily consists of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring sugar molecule in our skin that provides plumpness, elasticity, and hydration. Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water to restore skin volume, hydration and youthfulness, addressing concerns like wrinkles, fine lines, and facial volume loss.
What are the risks?
Most cosmetic procedures come with minimal risk. While you may experience a little discomfort, the side effects are temporary. They typically include swelling, bruising, and redness at the injection site. Most patients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment.
In extremely rare cases, serious risks may include an allergic reaction or blood vessel blockage, which can cause blindness, granuloma and nodule formation, infection or inflammatory reaction. Volume restoration treatments are reversible through the use of a product called Hyaluronidase.
